Introducing The PowerCan®200 All Organic Hydrogen Battery

Warsaw 28 February 2014

Organic Battery 2You could be forgiven for thinking that the Organic Hydrogen Battery here on the left is a glass plant pot filled with wood-chips because that’s exactly what it is. With an Energy Industry desperate to find effective renewable means to store and distribute energy the SOLIDEA Group energy team has been focusing on some low hanging fruits of its own invention. The PowerCan®200 produces hydrogen on demand from stored renewable wood-chip. It is an all organic low maintenance battery without heavy metal

Wood-Chip To Hydrogen Synthesis Gas [Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Syngas]

Converting wood-chip to hydrogen is a simple and well known process, a down draft gasifier such as the regular PowerCan®200 set up happily gasifies wood-chip in its reactor at temperatures over 500 degrees Celsius 24 hours a day. No smoke stack exists because nothing is burned there are then no gas emissions in the wood-chip to producer gas conversion process. Continue reading

Why Gasification Of Plastics Is Nonsense?

Wroclaw, 26 February 2014

Filament Plastic For 3D Printing

Even before the advent of the 3D printer and more than 30 years ago Poland had several plants which evaporated plastics and to ensure their reuse as fuel additives. Today as the first affordable 3D printers become readily available and set to change the way we manufacture to Cottage Industry, suddenly waste plastics have a surprisingly high potential value as “Filament” with the ability to remaining in the value chain being profitably recycled into something else.

Poland And The History of Soft Plastics For Fuel Recycling

Poland’s organic chemists have quite a history of creating breakthrough technology in the fuel, plasma and related sciences. Many synthetic fuels have been developed in Poland or through Polish innovation which originated in Poland. Polish scientists in the 1980’s demonstrated why landfill, burning and even gasification of plastics was nonsense. Continue reading

PowerCan® 200 and the Weapons of Mass Destruction

Warsaw 16 October 2013

US Military Mustard Gas Cannisters Dumped at Sea 1963

Syria’s chemical weapons program which were first developed in the 1970’s finally took a turn in the right direction this month with agreement to eliminate more than 1000 tons of chemical weapons in Syria by mid 2014. But what will happen to these weapons? How will Syria’s weapons of mass destruction be safely and securely removed from Syria to facilities where they can be made extinct and with little impact to the environment?

“PowerCan® 200 Technology 3 “the Glidarc” is an important part of the DAVINCH technology which already made a significant contribution to the destruction of Red and Green Chemical Weapons of Mass Destruction. The Glidarc reforms gas breaking down complicated producer gases into the basic chemical building blocks”

Syrias Chemical Weapons

WMD’s or WoMD’s [Weapons of Mass Destruction] are biological or nuclear weapons which are consistent in their ability to kill many humans at one exchange, whilst simultaneously creating significant damage to the environment. According to French Intelligence more than 1000 tons of chemical WMD’s are stored inside Syria. Continue reading

Innovating The PowerCan® 200

Warsaw March 18, 2013

Gassifier No.1

Small Gasification is a process which converts organic carbonaceous materials or biomass into carbon monoxidehydrogen and carbon dioxide. Generally gasification is reacted in a  controlled vacuum starved of oxygen and so that no combustion occurs.  At temperatures higher than 700°C, and without combustion in a controlled amount of oxygen syngas (from synthesis gas or synthetic gas) is created from the producer gas. The process is without a smoke stack and there are no emissions as the syngas conversion is produced in a vacuum. Syngas is an ideal fuel for CHP [Combined Heat and Power Units] derived from the gasification of renewable energy and a great way of reducing CO₂

The PowerCan® 200 2013-2016 Research and Development Program takes the PowerCan® 200 to the commercial mass production level,. PowerCan® 200 team will develop a global product an off the shelf energy solution with almost endless opportunities to make waste extinct locally, end landfill, reduce CO₂ and produce clean energy and one day even cleaner transport fuels. Ghana FIT’s for WAPP

Accra April 20, 2012

Accra PylonPower outages are now an immeasurable inconvenience in the Capital City of Ghana, the frequent power supply failures are not only inconvenient, they are taking their toll on electrical equipment lighting, computers and other household appliances.

As Ghana’s economy steadily grows electrical generation is not able to keep pace with regional demand; however the tables may quickly turn with the Nationwide ability to feed in electricity into the National Grid. Continue reading

Moonlight

Moonlight

Since “Moonlight” has been a tremendous success in rural Cambodia Jim Gramberg and his team have now been given the “green light” for international expansion to ensure long term product sustainability and growth. The SOLIDEA global team are primarily looking to find new markets in West and Central Africa for Moonlight.

The “Moonlight” is manufactured by Kamworks it is being promoted as a children’s homework light it gives light to thousands of young Cambodians where there was none, Moonlight is a big hit with adults too and as the project manufactures Moonlight in rural Cambodia it provides work and an important role model to the local economy.
